WOOt!!! followed the game via blog and Canada had Taken Gold for hockey in a overtime goal ending the game 3-2
and on top of that Canada has set a record on the amount of Gold medal's won by a hosting nation!!!
so for those of you that arn't Canadians, any big wins for gold for you guys?

AMAZING game in the finals! I watched it live on TV, of course, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I was cheering like a madwoman when I saw us make that shot in overtime. Go Canada!!
But honestly, I'm even happier that we beat Russia. There's nothing like pounding an old rival into submission-- and really, we schooled those boys. It was all over by the end of second period.

Even if we hadn't of won, Canada played a great game against the U.S.A. The level of skill displayed really showed some world class talent.
I now live in past dreams, and so I know that dreams will one day be.
