===OOC and Miscellaneous===
Alas, my string ends here. *shakes fist* RTP next month hopefully. I forgot how hard it can be sometimes to ceaselessly RP by yourself.

===RTP===

===RTQ===
Unfortunately while I may be tapping the area that I'm in, I can't leave for story reasons so I'll have to keep hoping to find new stuff that people drop or lose or what not over the course of a month. I will be continuing to do so this month re-checking any places that proved fruitful in the past and of course any area's people may throw out or lose things. Who knows, someones trash may end up useful to me. I'll also see about trying to find simple work of some kind. Anything to pay the bills :P Of course, story wise this would be Arius looking for side jobs, though I suppose he could get Saber's help as long as it was hidden help. :P

===Battle===
Hmm. Guess we'll see how Saber does...

Saber will begin by casting Might and Impervious, -10mp.

Saber will stay very mobile and keep enough distance between herself and the Peahats that she'd be able to dodge any sudden attacks or movements with ease. She will continue to circle the creatures and patiently line them up. They are most dangerous when they are flying so she'll be very careful to avoid them when they are doing so.

If they both land, and they are sufficiently far away that Saber can strike without danger of being attacked by both, then and only then will Saber dash in for a quick precise strike on the closest Peahat. She will aim for the soft center rather than the sharp blade-like leaves. While attacking, she'll be wary of those blades and use her shield to help block any incoming attacks if she can't get out of the way in time. She'll also use her sword to parry when appropriate as long as she can't dodge the attack. Even when attacking, she will keep a soft focus on her target and pay attention to the other Peahat as well. If it gets too close, or takes off into the air, Saber will back off and wait for a more opportune time.

As long as one of them are in the air, Saber will refrain from going on the attack.

While on the defensive, she will primarily aim to dodge incoming attacks and use distance as her primary shield. If this fails however, she has her Deku shield and sword to block/parry incoming attacks.

While attacking, Saber will be very careful to watch for her target taking off into the air right in front of her as this could prove to be quite dangerous. If this does happen, Saber will do her best to block/parry/dodge her way to safety staying low so the spinning blades are less likely to hit her.

If there is any notably useful terrain around, Saber will also try to use this to her advantage. Tree's or other tall structures can be used as a deterrent to flying attacks as if the Peahats get too close they'd risk hitting the object. Large rocks could work in a similar fashion. Despite what seems like common sense, if the ground is hilly, Saber will stay at a low point in the area to minimize the flying advantage.

If Saber is taking too much damage and if winning does not seem possible, then she'll be ready to retreat. It IS two medium monsters so it's not like this is going to be anywhere near an easy battle if even possible. Hopefully Saber will be able to win the battle by employing patience against these enemies, but if she is unable to beat them, she will not be shamed by having to flee.

Re: Peacetime XXXIII

Postby Azeroth Skyhopper » Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:57 pm

just reposting the statsnstrat for conveniance and might be adding a couple of things to help with the battle (*crosses fingers*

Azeroth Skyhopper
Hearts 20/20
(+2 Racial)
MP 194/320
(30 Walnuts [+30 MP] and a light headband [+10 MP])
6070 Rupee(s)

EXP:
PoP-- 8610/9000
PoW--3761/4200

Racial Ability: Military Training
The Hylians take very good care of their people, and have a strong educational system, which includes training for battle. As such, Hylians start with 2 additional Hearts and therefore their Heart count cap is 2 Hearts higher, and any Hylian, despite path, can wield a Light Weapon even without Light Weapon Proficiency.

Equipment
Head: Light Headband--Increases MAX MP by 10.
Necklace: Crest of Hylia--It boosts troop morale and restores your health by 1 Heart per month!
Armor: Scale Mail -8-
Vestment: Kokiri Tunic -1-
Weapon: Dragon Rune Katana---4- Medium. Two-hand Sword. Unique. You can go on your quest to activate it and make it stronger still.*
Arms: Silver Gauntlets--+4 strength*
Back: Royal Cape -- Increases morale in the territory you are in.
Feet: Battle Boots--+2 MVP + increase agility in battle

Path of Power
Offensive Line
Might: [5MP] Self-cast only. Doubles Strength
Charge: [10MP] Self-cast only. Next attack is a Critical Hit (1.5x).
Helm Splitter: [15MP] Chop downwards at the head while jumping over the enemy. Destroys helm in non-RPs, and allows for a strike to the back before enemy can reorient. When enemy has no helm, this is a Critical Hit (1.5x).
Ending Blow: [25MP] If non-RP enemy of a similar size (i.e., not a Boss) has been knocked down, this leaping strike will kill that enemy.
Mortal Draw: [50MP] Requires weapon. Sheath your weapon. When enemy nears, unsheathe and strike. This trick instantly kills most non-RP enemies of a similar size (i.e., not a Boss).

Defensive Line
Impervious: [5MP] Self-cast only. Doubles defense.
Taunt: [10MP] Lure the enemy. This tends to lower the enemies defense, thus opening up an attack chance. Enemy will remain focused on you unless there is a distraction, like an enemy Healer who is healing itself or others nearby.
Riposte: [15MP] Block against an incoming strike and strike back where defense is low.

Mastery Line
Light Weapon/Armor Proficiency: Allows the use of Light classification Weapon and Armors.
Medium Weapon/Armor Proficiency: Allows the use of Medium classification Weapon and Armors.
Imbue Weapon: [10MP] Self-cast only. Imbue your weapon with magic, adding magical damage to attacks.
Weapon Adeptness: Having trained with many weapons, you can now wield weapons of your current classification level as though they were one classification level lighter

Path of Wisdom
Elemental Line
Arcane Proficiency: Allows the use of Arcane classification items.

Summoning Line
Create Easy Summons: Create an Easy-rank summon. You may continue purchasing this until you progress to make more summons of this rank.

Healing Line
Cure: [10MP] Target recovers 2 Hearts.

Unique Skills
Ray of Light:
[10MP]Single target light-based attack.
"Arbiter's Light":
[10MP]When shouted, the runes on the Dragon Rune Katana glow and it emits a wave of light magic with an approximate radius of only ten feet, which weakens with distance. It is believed that when the Dragon Rune Katana is restored to its former power, this spell may become stronger.
"Arbiter's Rage":
[40MP]When shouted, a powerful, highly concentrated bolt of holy magic is fired out of the Dragon Rune Katana. This bolt is very fast and has a high armor piercing value. The bolt can pierce armor and can potentially go through multiple enemies in a line.
Berserk:
-All MP- Has the potential to activate in dire circumstances. Lose control of your character and go into a feral rage. All attributes are raised by +3 until the rage ends. You can not strat for berserk and when you go berserk your strats will be discarded and left up to rage.
Slivers of Light:
[10MP, (1 MP per sliver)] Azeroth generates small "slivers" of light magic (5 per hand, or ten overall) which are launched from his hands at enemies ... once they strike they stick to the target for several seconds before creating a minor explosion, doing minor smiting dmg... the flash of the explosion may also stun an opponent... of course sticking all 10 into an enemy just about guarantee’s them getting stunned... if you haven't hurt them to the point where they die from it...
Flashout
[+9MP] can activate when charging an enemy or vise versa Azeroth flashsteps fast enough that he leaves behind a very convincing afterimage for a second, usually prompting the enemy to swing at it, and thus be unable to block azeroth's slash from behind. high overuse can cause damage to be done to Azeroth as his body starts being unable to take the strain of Flashstepping at the heightened speed that causes the afterimage (the same will be true for the rest of the flashstep techniques.)
(I wrote it like that since by the sounds of it you want a lot of flash abilities which means you're probably going to start stacking them. So, that "+9mp" is +9 on top of the 6mp for flash. Later on, when you get tri-strike or whatever, it should also be in the form of +x MP so you can stack a bunch of them together. Flash, leave a flashout image, and tristike. etc)
Radiant Burst:
[15MP] the caster forms a orb of light mana (magic.) in their clenched hand, pointing in the direction they want the effect to take place, then releases it, causing the orb to 'burst' or explode away from the caster's hand, making a short range magical explosion that has traded high damage for incredible knockback, capable of knocking some of the heavier foes off balance (of course the best it could probably do is 'trip' a boss level monster if the caster targeted the right spot. and that's would probably be a lucky shot...) .
Flashstep:
[6MP] This spell propels Azeroth in one direction very quickly, making him disappear for about a second before he “flashes” back at his destination. The boost is omni-directional unless there are barriers in his way (such as a roof or wall). Azeroth can perform a mid-air Flashstep, but it costs double the normal spell cost and he cannot do consecutive mid-air Flashsteps. Any solid object can be used as a base for Azeroth's Flashstep. Azeroth cannot attack while in the midst of a Flashstep unless he uses a spell that specifically uses a Flashstep (for example, seperate unique spells created with parchments). Azeroth must slow down fully (leaving him normally visiable for at least a half second) before he is able to Flashstep again, leaving him open to an attack (which he can still block).
Mana Aura:
Azeroth generates an aura of magical energy (MP) around himself. This aura changes as he feeds more of his MP, and later Hearts, into it, advancing through a series of “gates”. At chosen points during the activation of his aura, Azeroth can augment the power of one of his spells by drawing power from the aura itself. However, once a spell is cast and some of the aura’s energy is used, Azeroth cannot progress to a further gate. The force of the magical energy being released has a drastic effect on Azeroth and his surroundings, and at the highest gates of the aura this force becomes very destructive. Also, a few of Azeroth’s unique spells require the aura to be activated and reach the proper gate before they can be cast. Advancing through one gate to the next takes about 5 seconds, but can be rushed by taking physical damage. Losing 1/2H per gate doubles the progression speed (2 and ½ seconds per gate); losing 1H per gate speeds it up even further (½ a second per gate).

The Mana Aura, once cast, remains for the length of one battle or situation. In some situations, the WARMOD or the Inquirer Writer may decide that it expires before the end of the conflict.
Gates 1-9
Gate 1: Basic
1-5 MP: Azeroth glows slightly, spell power increase very minor.

Gate 2: Heat
6-15 MP: A small field of reddish, liquid-like mana swirls around Azeroth, creating intense heat for foes closer than 2 feet. Spell power increase minor.

Gate 3: Large Heat
16-35 MP: A larger field of orange mana surrounds Azeroth, creating intense heat for foes within 5 feet. Spell power increase fair.

Gate 4: White Heat
36-55 MP: A bright white field of mana surrounds Azeroth, and his right eye glows intensely. Enemies now take damage from the heat if they are nearer than 5 feet. Visibility of foes also lowered due to intense brightness.
________________________________________________
To proceed past the 4th Gate, Azeroth must cast the “Seal Break” spell while under its effects. Also, once Azeroth passes the 5th Gate or higher, the aura only remains for 1 month.
________________________________________________
Gate 5: Golden Heat
56-75 MP: Golden mana encircles Azeroth. His right eye glows even more brightly. Enemies take increased damage from the heat if they are nearer than 5 feet. Visibility of foes is also lowered due to the intense brightness. Dust and light debris (fallen leaves, etc.) are drawn towards the aura, further lowering visibility.

Gate 6: Energy Sphere
76-105 MP: The golden, liquid-like mana that encircled Azeroth disappear, replaced by a semi-visible bubble of white energy. Azeroth’s magical resistance is lowered slightly, but his spell power spikes. The aura draws pebbles and small clods of earth into the swirl of debris.

Gate 7: Gravity Sphere
106-150 MP, ½ H: The previous bubble changes from white to golden. Azeroth’s magical resistance returns to normal, but his spell power remains the same. Movement of those within 5 feet of Azeroth is slowed slightly. The ground beneath Azeroth becomes cracked and weathered.

Gate 8: Greater Gravity Sphere
151-245 MP, ½ H: The sphere becomes slightly larger, and becomes less transparent. Movement of those within 5 feet of Azeroth is slowed greatly. The ground beneath Azeroth becomes extremely smooth and a small crater forms, roughly the same size as the aura.

Gate 9: Final Aura
246 MP or more, ½ H: The sphere implodes, leaving behind bolts of lightning that ripple across Azeroth’s body. The ground surrounding Azeroth breaks apart and large chunks of it circle around him, suspended in the air. His spell power hits its limit. Those closer than 5 feet become drawn into the aura and lose control of their motion for as long as he remains at this gate. Azeroth cannot remain at Gate 9 for longer than 30 seconds without endangering his life.
"Seal Break":
[2H, 20MP] Enhances Attack, Defense, and Spell effectiveness by +1, as well as raising magic resistance by .5, this spell is required to get past stage 4 of mana aura. Also, when this spell activates, a explosion of mana blows nearby enemies off their feet, the lighter enemies might even be sent flying as well as causing minor Holy dmg to them.

strat

okay, well I'm not trying to kill Zethos so I probably won't be going for the happy fun time explosive spells anyway...
so shoving terrestia out of the way of Zethos' charge and flashstepping out of the way myself to gain room to draw my sword and get ready

powering up the mana aura to gate 4 and then casting might, impervious and imbue weapon (-61MP)

keeping the possesed Zethos' attention on myself by engaging him head on, hoping that my aura will cancel his out.
if I a chance, landing a couple of sliver's of light on him (avoiding any chance of aiming down so it doesn't shatter a floor peice to that a stun him and will have a chance of directing a few rays into the swords eye itself.

early on in the fight Azeroth will use taunt (-10mp) to throw Zethos off in defense

blocking his blows if it looks like he's going to overwhealm my defenses, using flashout to get him off balance hand then decking him with a punch if he's getting to into my face to try to get past my defenses, headbutting him (most likey grabbing his collar with one hand to do it, if he isn't off balance from it enough then using the recoil from the first headbutt to wind up a second one (that'll probably hurt Azeroth as well...)

the main goal it to stun Zethos or have him off balance so that Azeroth can go for the eye on the sword or just go the brute force path of SMASHING the sword to itty bitty peices while ought to accomplish the goal spectacurality. if Zethos is down from anything then stomping on the wrist that's holding the sword and stabbing through the sword's eye with help from a Arbiter's rage if needs be.
if Zethos' starts using dark versions of Azeroth's spells, then countering with Azeroth's version of the spell, trying not to shatter floor peices.

also doing out best to preserve the floor peices or avoid ending up near then so that a mistake or slip won't send ANY of the combatants (Azeroth Zethos & Terrestia) falling down one... this fight will hopefully be only between Azeroth and Zethos if we can have Azeroth do his best to tie up the possesed Zethos enough that he doesn't have an option to attack terrestia if he wants to hold onto Zethos' body...

if he goes after Terrestia then flashstepping in his way, though terrestia will cast enhaced reflexes and lightfoot (-25MP) and get ready to defend herself at the beginning of the battle... but mostly trying to keep out of the fight or if she can get a strike at the swords eye herself with her knife if she catches on to what's going on if she really needs to or can, throw one of her Deku nuts to stun Zethos in a way if possible to avoid stunning Azeroth as well.

healing if Azeroth ha to using Cure. if he's low on MP then drinking the green potion, if terrestia needs healing then she'll drink her blue potion.

[*]Heat Control: -26mp-
Zen:"a buff. I cast it and for the rest of the month I have total control over what is and isn't affected by the heat (and even the extent to which it's affected - I can make something be affected by only part of the heat if want) that my red gauntlets are responsible for.
I also have the option to, at any point, such as at the end of the month, of instantly disspelling all of this magical heat, so that it doesn't cook everything when the buff wears off.
'all heat that the guantlets are responsible for' includes fire that spreads from anythign that the gauntlets or the superheated inferno blade ignite. As such, any such fire would spread only where I wish it to spread, not anywhere else."
[*]Valkez:"Comet Strike:-5mp*height/2km(roundedup)- (aka, if you're on the ground, 5 mp. If you use it from the height of an aircraft (~50,000ft or 15km) 40mp. The edge of the atmosphere around 36km, 90MP. 100km, pretty much outter space, 250mp.

On the ground, a hard swing. 15km, very heavy damage. 36km, aoe, knockback, small craters, 100km, very large aoe blast, large cater, huge damage, like a fully charged SoX.

Of course, you need to GET to these heights somehow before using the skill. And in the case of anything higher then 36Km, you'll probbaly want something to protect you from space (not to mention overshooting and launching yourself into space forever XD))"
Zen:"If I'm on the ground, I just do a hard downwards strike. If I'm the air, I accelerate dramatically towards the ground and do heavy damage with a limb or wielded weapon to whatever's beneath me. Most powerful with the Inferno Blade. Thanks to the spell I take no damage from my impact with the the ground or whatever I hit...nor from air friction :P
If I fall far enough, the attack starts to get an AoE damage/knockback effect, which inceases with height. So eventually, yes, I can make craters :D"
Valkez, after a request for clarification of the AoE aspect: "It's AOE period, just, in relation to your height. So, if you're on the ground, not really AoE, maybe a gust of wind :P if you're 2km, a small AoE, and it goes up by that. The way I viewed it, the two curves go up in an inverse. So, from 0 to about 36KM, the "damage curve" is steeper and thus you gain a lot of damage/distance, not so much AoE/distance. At about 36KM, you'd have the radius of about the final level AoE poW spells. From 36KM onward, the curves are opposite, so you start getting less damage/distance after that point, but gaining AoE/Distance at a fast rate. So at 100km, you'd have an extremely large AoE.

You accelerate when you use Comet Strike, so, you hit the ground pretty fast which helps with aiming. Depending on what kind of fall (being launched down or just falling down), if you were to just "fall" from 36k/m, maybe about 6-7s. If you were launched, about 2-3. From 100km, just falling would be around 20s, launching (if that's ever possible XD) about 12s. You accelerate very fast. Of course, it's a bit tricky to aim, that's the downfall of the technique. If it was easy to aim, something this strong would be a large parchment XD Generally, you'll need to combine this ability with other abilities for greatest effect.

For example, you can use abyss' Frog Cannon to fire you downward increasing your starting speed, aim, etc, and crashing into the target faster and not allowing it time to move. Or you could use frog cannon to shoot you higher into the sky, and then you have more AoE at the price of less accuracy. Or better, team up with someone like Serama, have her lullaby or do some kind of disable, and then comet strike.

Otherwise, Comet Strike is great for groups, walls, scouting (you don't JUST have to use it for attack, you can use it so you don't die from falling so far) etc."

WHOOPS. Totally thought I'd already posted this >_> *rushes it in before the Inquirer*

Me and Blue are going Yoshi Hills -> Koholint Prairie -> Hyrule Castle -> Koholint Prairie -> Hylia Plateau -> Zola Beach -> Toronbo Shore -> Frog's Hollow. With our different modifieers and mounts between us, we should both be able to make this. Yay mounts.

In Hyrule Castle, I'm withdrawing my Geo Ring and Stone of Agony and giving the latter to Serama for the time being (It doesn't matter which of us is carrying it and I'm out of Rare slots to put it in :P ). And equipping my Geo Ring.
I'm similairly lending my Stunner Net to Serama on the basis that, now I think about it, I have no clue whether it's classified as Rare or not =______=.

When we get there, we're entering the magic hollow in the forests there that I know of the location of from my previous trip to the dungeon. I sent you the details about all this :P
And then we're heading into the...which path did I already take...left....okay, we're going into the...middle path. Yes.

Joblist
1)THE TOAD QUEST CONTINUES
2)On the way to Frog's Hollow, we'll both use our shovels to dig for ores every time our mounts need to stop to rest. So we're not digging for the entire month by any means, but hey, at least two of us are doing it :D Oh, and I have a Lucky Rabbit's Foot. AND, serama is carrying my rare Stone of Agony, which helps you find hidden things :D

* Gold Star: A star-shaped pin to be worn on one’s shirt. It reads “Certified Bibliophile”. Provides no bonuses, but makes a great conversation piece. < Key Item >
* Kokiri Band: Imbued with the power of the forest by the Kokiri, this bracelet reduces the costs of all spells and abilities of the wearer by 5MP.
* Attack Cucco: She is a beautiful white hen named Magnolla, or Maggie for short. Serama can only use her cucco as a mount when she has shrunk. Maggie cannot be used as a flying mount; however, when moving from high territory to lower territory (e.g. mountains to hills), movement is cut in half.
* XXXIII Zora SiC Cape: Increases Morale and increases diplomacy results.

===
Photobook < Key Item >
Picture of Lucius: A pictograph of the handsome and evil (King?) Lucius of Paramina standing in the center of his golden shrine. He is posing proudly, a smile on his face. This photo was taken by Mao prior to the start of the final battle of “Hyrulian War XXX: Together We Stand Divided“.
Picture of Rentac’s Cucco: One of Serama’s friends, Rentac’s cucco (named Alizarin—Ali for short—) is a messenger bird for communicating with the outside world while his master is maintaining a dungeon. He’s affectionate towards Serama, though he likes to occasionally pick on others, even if he likes them. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay".
Field of Dandelions: A sprawling field of millions of dandelions outside of Kakariko Village. The bright yellow hills happily reflect the sun’s rays... Serama picked some of these weeds (flowers?) to give to Aquarius as a present. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay". [Key Item]
Two Moblins: This photo shot in secret outside of Kakariko Village is proof that these two moblins are up to no good. Crowded around a campfire, they were caught discussing a raid before Serama made her move... This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay".
Zora Boy at Lost Lighthouse: This poor boy was nearly eaten alive by wolfos after he collapsed from a dragon attack! Luckily Aquarius and his marionettes rescued and healed him. Serama ran into him as he traveled to Kokiri Village for aid, and he gave her directions to find Aquarius. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay".
The Handsome Winged Kokiri, Aquarius Valkez: Taken at the start of an epic battle against a dragon, this shot displays Aquarius propelling himself into the air with his wings--one black and one white--with a collapsing, flaming lighthouse behind him. The shot is a bit backlit and the shadows are drastic, as Aquarius' pet Thunderbird has just cast Ixion's Strength towards the aforementioned crumbling building. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay".
Against an Ancient Dragon: A dramatic battle shot taken midway through a fight against--you guessed it!--an Ancient Dragon. Participants include Aquarius (plus his pets and Goddess Marionettes), Blind, and Serama herself. The Dragon is currently pinned down by Aqaurius' pet Twinmold and is being raped by the rest of the party. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian XXX Peacetime: Heroes at Bay".
First date with Zen: Serama and Zen went monster hunting in Sunken Ruins together. The picture is of Zen slicing a monster epicly in half as he's tripping from slipping on some loose rubble with an expression of mixed horror and surprise. Serama thinks he looks cute. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXXIII: Kingdoms of Old".
Southwood Leader: Serama traveled to Southwood to meet with the leader of the Picori, in order to establish good relations between them and the Zora. To her surprise and delight, their leader was a young girl much like Serama! She and Illya became fast friends, and can here be pictured making silly poses for the camera. This photo was taken by Serama during "Hyrulian War XXXIII: Kingdoms of Old".
Farm Girl: A picture taken at Mr. Frodo's farm by Samwise Gagmee. This photo was taken after a month of long labour, and Serama, covered in cow pie dust and straw, smiles a Trident-worthy smile, satisfied with her work. This photo was taken by Samwise during "Hyrulian War XXXIII: Kingdoms of Old".
Exploding Z: Taken by a Rito troop, this is a picture of a massive Z-shaped explosion outside of Zora's Domain during the first month of siege from the Kokiri Empire. The bombfield lain as a defense against the seige shows the prowess and fighting spirit of the Zora, even against inevitable defeat. This photo was taken by a Rito during "Hyrulian War XXXIII: Kingdoms of Old".
'Serama and Zen Forevar!': A message on the sand in Serama's shakey Zoran script, with drawings of the two of them below. Two small, roughly-drawn figures stand between them: children? The declaration is surrounded by seashells collected on the beach in the form of a heart. The shadows of the real Zen and Serama, hand-in-hand, are cast over the priestess' masterpiece... This photo was taken by Serama during "Peacetime XXXIII".

< HYRULIAN INN: SPRING SHOWDOWN >

Round 1

Raius vs Bone: Amidst the snow-covered terrain, two dark figures jut out against the bland landscape. Raius Vaiethaen moves in with a pair of sharp daggers, piercing deep into Bone's unarmed flesh. However, the younger boy doesn't double over in pain, as one might expect, for he is caught in Raius' Dark Glare. The battle seems painful, but mercifully brief. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 1 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Aquarius vs Mao: Another battle on the snow plains; however, the landscape is quite crowded. Aquarius, transformed into a Takkuri and taking off into the sky, looks on as his Goddess Marionettes team up against Mao's pet, Stella. Mao himself has transformed into a Boe and is in the process of summoning a huge horde of them; in the white landscape, it is hard to make them all out, let alone tell which one is actually Mao! This photo was taken by Serama during Round 1 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Blind vs Atoms: The final picture in this snowscape series. The photo was taken towards the end of the battle, just after Atoms tries to hold Blind steady and let his dagger taste the Zora's sweet blood. However, he was interrupted by Blind's Buzzblob's Shock; thus, in the picture, there is a skeletal outline of a Tokay losing his grip on his weapon as Blind finishes his spell. A somewhat comical shot. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 1 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Azeroth vs Viper: Azeroth stands with his party members on a smaller island, surrounded by water and a few other islands ... they are the only life forms in sight, as Viper didn't show up to the battle. A bit anti-climatic, though the look on Azeroth's face lets everyone know he's serious and prepared for a good battle. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 1 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Serama vs Jekar: The small Picori deals the even smaller Jekar the finishing blow with her twin knives. Although he has no expression on his leafless face, his body is contorted in pain as he falls forward on his knees to her. Serama stands the proud victor as Jekar's remaining boe summons disappear in puffs of smoke. This photo was taken by Blind during Round 1 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.

Round 2

Jekar vs Azeroth: Azeroth has just thrown his signature Shards of Light into the hapless Korok in the sky-- who retaliated with a Deku Nut and a Bombchu summoned at the start of the battle. The bombchu is running towards the stunned Hylian, who can do nothing to protect himself. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 2 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Raius vs Mao: This actually ends up being a picture of only Raius, standing contemplatively in the middle of the battlefield. Mao did not answer his summons against Raius, leaving the latter alone and starved for bloodshed. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 2 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament. (x2)
Aquarius vs Atoms: A picture of the most epic janitor in the world. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 2 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament.
Blind vs Bone: A very interesting battle that was largely long-range. Blind takes up aim for his final Savage slot at the Undead, who had sneakily realized that he did not need to breathe underwater and used his racial abilities to his advantage. This photo was taken by Serama during Round 2 of the "Hyrulian Inn: Spring Showdown" tournament. (x2)

Whee, I have 2 new nodes! Putting 'em in PoW and taking Lightning Orb and Cura, respectively.

Buying a shovel (-600 rupees) from the nice siblings. And, um, travelling to Hyrule Castle to buy more supplies, and then on to Frog's Hollow with Zen! :D

While at Hyrule Castle, I'm doing the following:

1. Taking out my Large Parchment. (Yes, I'm finally using it!) Can I get a pricing for the spell:
Diminuendo: An extension of Serama's innate Minish Shrink ability, diminuendo shrinks the target to Minish size. It can be cast on allies and enemies alike, though it can be broken with sufficient concentration and willpower. Lasts until either Serama unshrinks them or the target unshrinks themselves.

2. Tearing my Medium Parchment into four Smalls. Banking two smalls and writing the following two spells on the remaining parchments:

Echolocation: Enables the priestess to hear the locations of objects through vibrations in her surroundings, letting her “see” in all directions and around corners. As a lasting buff, can greatly reduces the chances of ambush, and can be used to “map” unseen territory. Is also useful for finding the bathroom late at night.

Arioso: Basically a sharp gust of wind. It does no damage, though it can knock a target off-balance. Can also be used to help boost a jump or knock things down from high places.

Next, I'm making the following Bazaar purchases:

( 16866 starting funds )
1 bottle (500 R)
3 spring waters to fill up my empty bottles (300 R)
1 Nightslayer Tunic (5,750 R)
1 Magic Cape (2,100)
1 Magician's Wand (2,800 R)
1 Utility Belt (3,500 R)

...that leaves me with 1316 rupees.

I'm banking my Leather Armor and equipping my Nightstalker Tunic. Yay shiny new clothes!

( All of that is already updated in the above stats.)

And I'm off with Zen to his dungeon! Digging along the way like he said. *crosses her fingers*
.:: take me again . in sleep . unbroken ::.

    Azeroth Skyhopper
    • You push Terrestia out of the charging Zethos's way, drawing your sword and casting your buffs. Unfortunately this gives time for Zethos to make another pass at Terrestia. Her Enhanced Reflexes save her from a direct hit, and she scrambles out of her possessed husband's way. Zethos spins around to attack you as you cast the last of your buffs; you catch his blade on yours, though you're knocked a bit off-balance. Zethos is about to follow up with a dark version of your Arbiter's Rage, but a lucky Deku Nut from Terrestia saves you and you scramble to your feet, taking advantage of Zethos' stun to slash at the eye on his sword.
He recovers all too quickly, though, and the battle progresses into a series of explosions as you both cast spells of varying strength, causing explosions in the air as light and darkness meet with a clash. The light catches in the stained glass walls, creating beautiful prisms and epic reflections around you as you fight. While you aren't trying to kill Zethos, he seems to have no qualms about doing you and Terrestia in, and isn't afraid to use stronger spells to shatter the glass under your feet. Luckily, you manage to get out of the way not to fall into the endless abyss below... Terrestia buys you enough time to regain your footing.
Realizing that the battle is somewhat of a stalemate so far, Zethos grins. "It's time to tip the scales!" he proclaims. He raises his sword and casts Arbiter's Light... at the wall? Has he gone mad?
You watch the spell flash away, and... somehow be absorbed into the stained glass wall! It seems to have hit a red tile of glass, which has begun glowing. You don't have time to contemplate it, though, for Zethos is after you again, and you meet in a clash of swords. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a blast of fire magic hits your side, catching you completely off-guard and dealing heavy damage. Zethos laughs gleefully, using the opportunity to slash at you for more damage. You quickly cure yourself back up, and piece together what happened-- the glass that had absorbed the energy of the attack had, after a short period, released that energy back at you!
"It must be fire attacks for red glass," Terrestia calls out, having realized the same thing you did. "Then, the other colours of stained glass must stand for the other elements! Azeroth, if you use your light--!"
But she doesn't have a chance to finish her sentence. Determined to silence her, Zethos slashes at her with his blade. The blow would have been fatal had she not dodged-- but she couldn't completely get out of the way in time. She shrieks in pain as the blade pierces her arm. It gushes blood and hangs limply-- broken.
Zethos, seemingly shocked back to reality by her scream, and instead of dealing a finishing blow, struggles with himself, fighting from within. Terrestia, in pain though she is, realizes that this is a chance, and she stabs at the eye in the blade.
This time it's Zethos' turn to scream in pain. Terrestia quickly backs away, and drinks her potion-- which restores her health, though her arm is still useless.
You charge in, covering Terrestia and trying to stun the bonded again. After a few more blows, the shadows around Zethos intensify. "I've had enough of these games!" he declares, raising his sword in the air... and smashing it into the glass beneath him. It shatters, and he jumps back. But instead of just shattering that one piece of glass, it sets off a chain reaction-- breaking apart the black metal that holds all of the glass together! The glass slabs themselves aren't broken, though.
But with nothing to hold them together, the entire temple collapses! ...Or does it? You can't tell if you're falling or floating, but pieces of glass are suspended in the air, like dozens of floating platforms, all different colours. Zethos pursues you again, and you jump to a different piece of floating glass to get out of the way. It seems like the battle will continue among the glass shards!

      Azeroth: [ - 14 hearts ][ - 210 MP ]
      Terrestia: [ Broken Arm ] [ - Blue Potion ]
Possessed Zethos: [ seems at about half health; the eye on his sword is dripping blood but still alive ]

(The battle's half-over! I'm giving you a chance to catch your breath and update your strategy now that the battlefield has changed and you know more about how the glass can be used. Great job so far!).

    • You find only seven rupees, but hidden amongst some bushes, you also find a joy pendant! An old farmer asks if Arius would be willing to help water his crops and tend to his fields for an income of 20 rupees a month.
    • VERY well-executed battle. (I thought that dice roll was going to be the end of you, but Saber pulled this off excellently, especially given the difficulty of the encounter.) Saber's concentration on her defense was the key to winning this tough battle. With Might cast, Saber was able to do decent damage when attacking the Peahats' vital points, despite them being stronger than her, and she was not careless enough to let them get behind her since she kept good distance. At times it was hard to rush in in time to deal a blow, and the Peahats were able to jump out of the ground quickly enough to counter, but between her shield, her concentration on being defensive, and Impervious, they luckily didn't do more damage than she could handle. Hugging a nearby rock or two in the field also enticed the peahats to land, giving Saber the opportunity to deal a blow or two.
This was a very, very long battle-- which ended up being its only drawback, since in her tiredness Saber's defense grew weaker and a bit more sloppy. But so too did the Peahats tire (after killing one, the second had run out of MP and was near-defenseless against her), and it was clearly a better decision than rushing in and blitzing the battle. Excellent job!

      Saber: [ - 10 MP ] [ - 9 hearts ][ Exhaustion 1 ] [ + 140 EXP ] [ + 40 Rupees ] [ + 2 Deku Nuts ]
      Peahats: [ DEAD ]

    Zen
    • [ + 100 EXP ] for the RTP with Blue Cucco on Month 12, Year 1 {Hyrulian Peace XXXIII}.
    • See Blue Cucco's results for digging.
    • Zen and Serama walk into the enchanted dungeon, opting for the middle path. After walking down a seemingly endless corridor of trees, you come out in a peaceful-looking clearing full of waste-tall grass, roughly circular and about a hundred and fifty meters across. A lone tree, strangely having no leaves and appearing almost dead, sticks out like a sore thumb in the middle of the clearing. You can see two rough paths leading off in about the ten o'clock and two o'clock positions, but it's impossible to tell where they lead without following them...

Unique Abilities
Arioso: [10 MP] Basically a sharp gust of wind. It does no damage, though it can knock a target off-balance. Can also be used to help boost a jump or knock things down from high places.
Concerto [40 MP]: Can only be cast at the beginning of a month, and is automatically used on the nearest enemy by the end of the month if not released sooner or given direction. It builds up sound energy that the caster has heard throughout the month, and releases it in a deadly fast, concentrated sonic beam that deals heavy damage. Works well on a battlefield with lots of noise, but is virtually useless for one-on-one fights or stealth missions.
Diminuendo: [80 MP] An extension of Serama's innate Minish Shrink ability, diminuendo shrinks the target to Minish size. The maestro must be touching the target for it to work. It can be cast on allies and enemies alike, though it can be broken with sufficient concentration and willpower. Lasts until either Serama unshrinks them or the target unshrinks themselves.
Echolocation: [15 MP]; [2 MP for every additional 5 minutes active] Enables the priestess to hear the locations of objects through vibrations in her surroundings, letting her “see” in all directions and around corners. As a lasting buff, can greatly reduces the chances of ambush, and can be used to “map” unseen territory. Is also useful for finding the bathroom late at night.
Lullabye [20 MP]: A song that lulls all foes who hear it to sleep. Song may continue being sung in order to maintain the effect for a prolonged period of time.
Solo [20 MP] While being sung or played, all foes who can hear it are inflicted with Silence. Can be played continuously, but spell cost must be paid for each month played.

Notes

Serama smiled happily, hugging Zen tightly for a moment before kneeling back down by the drawing and producing some number of shells from her pockets. "...Help me finish?" She seemed almost shy.

"Sure." He bent down to help her do... whatever it was she was doing.

A bright smile returned to her lips, and she continued placing her shells in a big heart around the message. "It'll probably wash away soon, so I want to finish and take a pictograph. That, and we probably shouldn't stay above the water for too long..." Her voice trailed off thoughtfully. "Have you ever lived underwater before? I mean, really LIVED? What's it like...?"

"Hmm. No, I suppose I haven't. The closest I've come to 'living' underwater is some of my longer underwater trips. Especially before I got Abyss. Like when I originally travelled to the Hyrule mainland from my home island."

Serama nodded slowly. "Well... I think the longest time I've been underwater is just earlier, when I was in the moat." She made a face. "My hands got all wrinkly. Is that normal? It doesn't seem to happen to anybody but me."

Zen frowned. "Now that I think about it, that IS perfectly normal for non-Zora. Your body isn't designed for spending much time underwater - stay in too long and it washes the oils out of your skin. I completely forgot that living underwater may not be good for your health even if that tunic lets you breathe down there. But we'll just have to try find a way around such problems if and when they arise. Maybe we can make you some temporary waterproof clothing out of fish bladders or something. If all else fails we can look for an underwater cave with an air pocket in it for you to spend most of your time in."

"Or I could transform into a water-monster," Serama offered helpfully, placing another shell. "I don't like the idea of shrivelling up into a ball of wrinkles and losing all my hair. ...Why don't Zora and Zola shrivel?"

Zen blinked. "I...don't know, exactly. The same reason that fish don't? Our bodies are very different, Serama."

"...I know. We think differently, too. We're... very different." Serama fell silent as she placed her last few shells. "...Even if we... can make love. Do you think we can't have children....?"

Zen sighed. "I have no idea. There ARE known precedents for mixed-Race children. Like Kokiri-Hylian. And I suppose Gerudo-Hylian, although the Gerudo are a special case. But magical traits aside, those races are all quite similair, and there are no precedents that I know of for Zora successfully breeding with other Races. Our bodies may just be too different. But then, I don't really know of any precedent for Zora TRYING to breed with other Races, either. So...maybe."

Serama sighed, sitting back. "I wish... I could have been made a Zora. Maybe things wouldn't be complicated then." She leaned forward to draw two tiny figures standing between the picture of her and Zen in the sand. And smiled, just a little.

"...You know, Serama...even we can't have children normally, that doesn't mean it's impossible for us to do so at all. We live in a world full of magic. It's achieved all kinds of things that would otherwise be impossible MANY times in Hyrule's recorded history." He nodded to her. "I mean, just look at your own ability to shrink like all Minish can. Without magic it would make no sense whatsoever." He nodded again. "What I'm saying is, even if it isn't possible now, we can MAKE it possible."

"So... you're saying that there's magic out there that makes Zora and Minish able to have babies together?" She looked hopeful for a moment before frowning in thought again. "Neither of us knows anything about that kind of magic, though. ...Or do you? And if it doesn't exist, I wonder how we'd research it and learn about it."

"Well, no, I don't. I'm not really talking about about learning such magic ourselves - it isn't as if we'd have any use for it after the first time we use it. I mean finding someone else to perform the magic on us. There are specialists for EVERYTHING if you look hard enough for them. Or perhaps a Great Fairy, some of them can do all kinds of weird things. As for how to research it... well, that's the same as any quest." He grinned. "We read up on it, ask questions, and make it up as we go along until we find what we're looking for."

Serama found a smile growing on her face, enthused by his optimism. "Yeah... someone SOMEWHERE'S gotta have the answer. Or at least the path to one!" She stood up, brushing her hands off on her armor. "And we have time. Lots of time! It's too early to have kids now, anyway. You said you weren't ready yet. ...Besides, bringing kids into the world now, when we're fugitives hiding in the sea, seems like a bad idea. Little kids make loud noises and eat a lot and get bored playing hide-and-seek really quickly." She clearly had some measure of personal experience with this.

Zen continued to grin. "My thoughts exactly. Anyway, transforming into an underwater monster seems like a pretty sensible solution to the issue of you living underwater, at least for the time being. "

Serama nodded, her brow slowly furrowing in worry as a scenario played itself out in her head. "...Yeah... ... ...um... do you promise not to forget and hunt me by accident?"

Zen chuckled. "Of course I promise. You really don't need to be concerned about that. More importantly, I promise to make sure Abyss doesn't forget either." He glanced at the gargantuan Gargantuan Toad, who looked rather bored now that he wasn't eating anything.

Serama laughed nervously. She wasn't sure what would happen if a person was eaten WITHOUT a partner to make babies with.

A sudden thought struck Zen. "Anyway, Serama... um... where's Nicolette's mask?"

"Oh, it's right there." She pointed to where it sat, undisturbed but perhaps slightly more baked, on the sand. "I didn't want to hold it."

Zen sighed in relief. "Oh, good. I was worried that it might have been washed out into the lake."

Serama shook her head. "Nope, I left it over here! I could probably find it quickly even if it got lost, though." She looked a little uncomfortable again.

Zen couldn't help but be curious. "...oh?"

Serama shrugged slowly. "I don't know why. But I guess I feel like I'm being watched? No, that's not quite it... And it's not really.... not really a feeling at all. If I try to focus on it, it disappears. But I'm just... aware... of it." She played with the edge of her tunic. "I think... it's because it's Nicolette's mask. She's my sister, and so.... I guess we're close. Connected. So maybe I feel her energy in the mask."

Her face lit up suddenly. "Or maybe I'm getting better at sensing souls! Last year, when Raius and I went to lunch-- he showed me what his vision was like. He could see souls and sense them all around!" Her smile grew wider. "And he showed me that he could see my soul, too! I have a soul! Definitely!" She was triumphant in her knowledge.

Zen smiled and put a hand on her shoulder. "You shouldn't need Raius to tell you that."

Serama smiled back a little guiltily. "...I know. You told me not to worry about it, but... Sometimes doubt still creeps up in my mind. I don't know how to make it stop." She reflected silently. "...I'm sorry."

"You have noting to apologise for, Serama. Just...try not to doubt yourself so much. Okay?"

"...Okay. I'll try really, really hard!" She'd probably need to, after the events of the past month. Still, there was little that the priestess' optimism couldn't handle.

"Good. So... soul-vision, huh? That must have been an interesting experience."

"It made me dizzy. You can see in ALL DIRECTIONS. Not just in front of you! It's kind of... staggering." She smiled. "But it was fun! I bet if I practiced a whole lot... well, I don't know if I'd ever be anything like Raius. But maybe I wouldn't be bad at it! ...Then again, it was really his power I was using, so I guess it's hard to say. But either way, I did manage to find Iodela! I met her earlier in the day, so I remembered her. ...But she was really close by, and in the same room I saw her in last, so I guess it's not really a big deal." She laughed, scratching the back of her head.

Zen recognized 'Iodela' as being the name of the Hylian girl who'd had Serama at knifepoint, but he chose not to remind her of those events by asking who exactly she was. "Well...", he said. "If you're done with this, take your Pictograph of it. We probably shouldn't hang around for much longer."

"Oh! Right," she agreed, reaching into her pocket and producing the pictograph. "You know... this is one of the best things I've ever bought. Even if it's not useful in battle... being able to keep your memories perfect, and then share them with other people is really nice. It's nowhere near as good, but it's about as close as I can get to a mind-link..." Her voice trailed off thoughtfully. "Someday, I want to show all of my pictures to our kids! We'll sit in comfy chairs by the fire, and they'll groan and pretend to be bored, but deep down they'll think it's interesting." The scene she described seemed quite picturesque to Serama. She nodded to herself, pleased, and snapped a photograph of the markings in the sand.

Zen picked up 'The' Stalfos Mask. "I wonder when your sister is going to turn up. When I asked her about meeting up with her to give the mask back, she just said she'd find me when she wanted it, or something."

Serama shrugged. "Don't worry about it. It'll probably just be gone one day, and that'll be that."

Zen smirked. "She's that good, huh? All right, then." He pocketed the Mask. "I tell you, I'm pretty glad I don't need to wear this thing anymore."

Serama reached out and took his hand, enjoying the feeling of the comforting pressure of his flesh on her palm. ".....me too."

Zen smiled warmly, holding her hand. "Well, then...shall we go? We can both ride Abyss while we look for somewhere specific to stay - he's just as fast underwater as on land, and actually a slightly more comfortable ride."

She slowly nodded. "...All right. He's larger now, but will it still be easier if I ride while miniaturized? ...And it'll be much easier to hold on as a Minish instead of an Octorok." She giggled at the image this conjured in her mind.

"What, even with all those tentacles?", he teased.

She shrugged thoughtfully. "Well, I've never tried being an Octorok before. Maybe you're right, and it'll be easy! Whatever's most comfortable for you."

"Well, I guess it might still be easier if you shrink, yes. Although Abyss has grown...a lot...the saddle on his mount hasn't, so there isn't actually more space for to easily hang on to. If you shrink and sit in my armor or something, then you managing to hold on isn't a problem."

Serama nodded. "All right. We'll do it like before, then! Any preference to what form I take?"

"Just be a shrunken Minish for now. That way we can establish how serious a problem it is for you to spend extended amounts of time underwater. As soon as you start to feel uncomfortable or ill, you should transform into...something, I don't know. But not a Biri, please; it'd be pretty hard for you not to shock me. But until then, you might as well conserve your mana."

"At such a tiny size, you probably wouldn't even feel it through your armor," Serama giggled. "But all right. I'll be careful!" She clasped her other hand in Zen's and leaned forward, pushing her weight into his palm and shrinking easily into his hand.

Zen carefully slid Serama into a a secure spot in his armor where she wouldn't bump around and slip out, swam out to Abyss, and got in the saddle. He issued a silent command, Abyss drew in an astonishingly deep breath, and they submerged. And thus Zen and Serama vanished, for the time being, from the face of Hyrule.

RTQ to come later when Zen and I decide what we're doing in the dungeon. :3

Custom Spell Details:
[list]

Azeroth Skyhopper
Hearts 6/20?
(+2 Racial)
MP -16/320?

Also, when this spell activates, a explosion of mana blows nearby enemies off their feet, the lighter enemies might even be sent flying as well as causing minor Holy dmg to them.

strat

okay well there's a slight discrepancy in the stats but I'm going to assume that I heal to full from your results and then used the green potion putting me at approx. 144MP... hmmm

okay well with that assume with me at 20/20H then it's time to up the ante, letting Zethos come to me, when he lands on the platform I'm on, or if he's waiting for me going to his and immediatly busting out sealbreak (-2H,20MP) and while Zethos is flying downing one of the blue potions to put Azeroth at full health and 284MP oh this battle is going to me magic intesive with all the flashstepping needed but with the reworked mana total it shouldn't be too bad

okay well figuring out which pane does which element should be simple with the process of elimination:
Since we already know Red is fire classically that means that water is blue and brown is earthso the only remaining color is purple and thus wind (which will hopefully use the electrical type spells when hit.) testing this by sending a sliver of light (need to rename it shards of light sometime...) to hit it, and a couple more if it seems to need more to set it off

blocking his blows if it looks like he's going to overwhealm my defenses, using flashout to get him off balance hand then decking him with a punch. If he's getting to into my face to try to get past my defenses, headbutting him (most likey grabbing his collar with one hand to do it, if he isn't off balance from it enough then using the recoil from the first headbutt to wind up a second one (that'll probably hurt Azeroth as well... but I really want a chance to do it...) so if it looks like a viable option flashstep really close or when he's rushing in and give this sucker move a go, using the head ftw!

the main goal it to stun Zethos or have him off balance so that Azeroth can go for the eye on the sword or just go the brute force path of SMASHING the sword to itty bitty peices while ought to accomplish the goal spectacurality. if Zethos is down from anything then stomping on the wrist that's holding the sword and stabbing through the sword's eye with help from a Arbiter's rage if needs be.
if Zethos' starts using dark versions of Azeroth's spells, then countering with Azeroth's version of the spell, trying not to shatter floor peices or at least the one Terrestia is on, the rest can be fine if both Azeroth and Zethos are already leaving.

since I'm going to be relying on flashstep here, going to have to step up physical to make up for the increased strain on my mana (MP) reseverse, so I'm going for flat side of hte blade blows and gut punches ot wind Zethos, kicks to the shin, or a flat hand blow to the side of the neck (PPCT course knowledge ftw!) to make him drop. but still countering his spells and hitting him with a Radiant burst to knock him off his feet if needs be, or low numbers: <5 to stun him it's low dmg shouldn't hurt Zethos too bad while giving Azeroth a good opening though I will be avoiding blasting him off an edge of a panel...

this fight will hopefully be only between Azeroth and Zethos if we can have Azeroth do his best to tie up the possesed Zethos enough that he doesn't have an option to attack terrestia if he wants to hold onto Zethos' body...

if he goes after Terrestia then flashstepping in his way, though terrestia will cast enhaced reflexes and lightfoot (-25MP) and get ready to defend herself at the beginning of the battle... but mostly trying to keep out of the fight or if she can get a strike at the swords eye herself with her knife if she catches on to what's going on if she really needs to or can, throw one of her Deku nuts to stun Zethos in a way if possible to avoid stunning Azeroth as well. Terrestia will probably need to set the broken arm quickly, maybe the resulting scream will snap Zethos into partial control for a moment to allow Azeroth an opening to go for the Eye on Zethos' sword.

Azeroth will do his best to stick on the same panel as Zethos is fighting across this expanse, blasting the electric glass pane with sliver of light if that suffices to give enough power for an attack, or arbiter's light. Flashstepping of when Zethos does, keeping up with him.

healing if Azeroth has to using Cure. Azeroth will use cure on terrestia if she needs it at any point, and downing the last blue potion when low on mana and/or hearts

Yay, Saber did well! And now she's leveled up! So proud~ XD Anywho, she's grabbing Flurry.

Side note, completely forgot about HW XD busy with stuff ^^; Guess I'll have to save my RTP for later though. Bah.

Saber will be indeed resting this month in order to recover from exhaustion as well as to regain lost hearts and mp.

Arius would be overjoyed to help the old farmer! He will do so right away, (unless Saber being exhausted and resting means Arius can't help the farmer in which case he'll ask if he can start next month ^_^)

===Joblist===

2. Farmer (if able)

"T-they look mean..." Arius spoke in almost a whisper, his voice trembling with a mix of excitement and fear. He didn't know why they showed up here, nor did he care. The excitement and adrenalin was coursing through his veins.

This. This was what he spent so many long hours dreaming about. Great adventure, great peril. Well, the adventure part was loose. They were going to train in their usual forest spot but these two things had arrived before them. Arius had no idea what they were, but they looked cool and menacing.

"They are Peahats." Saber spoke in her usual calm stoic tone. Where Arius tried to keep quiet as to not startle the creatures, Saber spoke loudly as if to alert them to their presence. It wasn't surprising to him though. She upheld a knightly honor that out shined even the most honorable of knights. Her spirit was as pure as her fair skin.

"Peahats.... Are they dangerous?" Arius asked, still in his cautious quiet tone. He wasn't surprised that Saber knew what the creatures were. She was a firm believer in knowledge being as strong as a sword, and many times more useful. She had spent many long hours in the library pretending to read fantasy stories when really she was studying.

Not just monsters either, though she was well versed in almost all of the creatures, even the rarest ones that people had not seen for many lifetimes. She also studied the history of Hyrule in quite a bit of depth. She was aware of most the lore, past conflicts, interesting events, and notable people. People that would come and go, disappear and reappear without notice. People that changed the face of Hyrule.

"They're territorial. Sharp blade like leaves. Their biggest advantage is their ability to fly." Saber recited concisely. Arius nodded his head soaking in the information.

"And... why are they here? We haven't seen monsters in here for how many years?" Arius asked, his body starting to loosen up now that he was confident he wouldn't get attacked suddenly. Saber quickly shattered that confidence by drawing her sword. The sword alone made him jump two feet into the air.

"I don't know why, but now that they are, they won't leave unless I make them leave. Like I said, territorial. We can't train without getting rid of them." Saber paused, a small and rare grin appearing on the corner of her lip. "Plus, this should be better training then beating you up anyways." She joked to her servant.

Arius couldn't help but agree, and he wasn't exactly worried for his master. He had the utmost confidence in her. But... Still, he was uneasy. He didn't want to seen his mistress get hurt. And by the sounds and looks of it, that could very well be the case. These 'Peahat' creatures look formidable. Saber silently walked into the clearing and the Peahats seemed to react right away.

"I give you the chance to flee, otherwise, you shall meet your end at the tip of my blade." Saber spoke loudly into the night, pointing her blade at the creatures in front of her. They stirred for a moment, as if they actually understood what Saber was saying, but if they did, they refused the offer. Bursting out of the ground, they take flight towards the golden haired knight.

Arius watched from the sidelines, the excitement and fear building to their highest levels as the battle commences. He thought it was very clever that Saber was keeping a good distance when the Peahats were moving. Like she said to him before, they're strongest asset is their flight. It makes sense to neutralize that by not being reachable.

Inevitably when they had to land was when she was able to make her attacks. Dashing in she looked like a blur, striking at what Arius could only assume was weak points. The blades proved to be more trouble then expected however. Even on the ground these creatures were quite dangerous. He was in awe as she danced around her enemies, parrying blows with her blade and blocking with her shield. Arius realized this is what true combat was. When he and Saber trained together, it was more like her beating on a punching bag.

Arius let out a gasp as he see's one of the blades cut into Saber's right arm, a splash of red blood being sent airborne from the wound. Yet, the knight's expression did not change, nor her calm composure. She made space, and prepared for the next opportunity.

The battle went on like this for quite some time. Saber was very patient in her attacks, always waiting for the absolute best moment to attack and then taking advantage of it. Despite this, she was taking quite a bit of damage herself. Even when they were 'most vulnerable' they were far from being actually vulnerable. It seemed like every good strike Saber made had the cost of a wound of her own. Arius grimaced every time, and wanted so badly to rush out there to help. Some way, some how. But he knew that he would only get in the way and that if a Peahat attacked him, Saber may put herself into a poor position to save him. All he could do was pray from the sides.

Thankfully, the battle finally ended and in Saber's favor. Eating one of the razor sharp leaves to her left shoulder she stabs through the last creature. It falls to the ground and shortly after fades to energy and dust. His golden haired mistress stabs her blade in the ground and leans on it panting heavily. Arius was already rushing for his mistress before the monster even disappeared.

"Saber! Are you alright? Holy Nayru those things were stronger then you let on! Look at you!" Arius almost panicked looking at his mistress covered in blood and wounds. Her outfit and armor was drenched in it. Even her perfect face had a slice across the cheek. Arius took off his bag and grabbed all of the first aid stuff that he thought would help. Thankfully, ever since Arius had gotten sliced up for the first time by Saber, they had been bringing first aid supplies. Arius never thought he'd be using them on Saber though.

"I'm.. fine." Saber panted out, still leaning on her blade. "They were worthy.. opponents..." She continued and then fell to the ground panting heavily. Arius quickly rushed over and supported her as much as possible, leaning her back into a resting position. He began cleaning the wounds and bandaging them to the best of his ability. Impressively, Saber was refusing to pass out despite the exhaustion and heavy damage. She should have passed out before the fight even finished.

"Rest Saber..." Arius whispered out almost unconsciously. Those words seemed to act like a switch for the heavenly knight. Her body finally began to relax as she let herself drift into a deep sleep.
